UI/UX Wasn’t Enough, So I Learned Full-Stacks
Solace is an AI-powered wellness app for ironworkers and trades workers, helping prevent physical pain, mental stress, and substance dependency. Through personalized stretches and calming soundscapes, it offers healthier alternatives to painkillers and alcohol for a community whose well-being is often overlooked.

I designed and built core app features, applied new coding and AI tools, and led video production and social media efforts to support Solace’s mission.

My Contributions
- Designed and developed stress-relief features, including breathing exercises and white-noise pages
- Implemented login/sign-up flows, onboarding tutorials, and account settings pages
- Applied new learnings and AI tools throughout the development process
- Used AI tools such as Copilot and Cursor to accelerate and support development
- Produced the promotional video from storyboarding to filming and post-production
- Managed the project’s social media to promote Solace and communicate its mission
Project Conclusion
This project strengthened my ability to design and build impactful features while demonstrating strong communication skills and expanding my expertise in new tools, coding techniques, and AI-assisted workflows across design, development, and marketing.
